Playing a Clement Piano:
Make your Dreams come True |
| |
The renowned musical tradition
of Tesero, in Val di Fiemme,
dates back to the eighteenth Century;
for centuries the master lutists have used precious harmonic spruce from the woods of the valley to build the soundboards
of the violins and the acoustic pianos.
The Clement factory was born from this musical tradition thanks to the piano genius of Mr. Bozzetta.
The original manufacturer, at the beginning of the twentieth century,
was already building amazing pianos
that have favourably influenced the history of Italian music.
In 1937 came the turnaround:
the artisanal manufacture became
a fully-fledged industry employing
dozens of technicians and designers
who created that marvellous piano which
is the modern Clement.
The continuous mechanical evolution,
together with thorough acoustic studies performed in collaboration
with the researchers of Ancona Polytechnic University, characterise the new series of Clement pianos.
The instruments have outstanding mechanical and sound characteristics,
the result of a meticulous and modern design respectful of tradition.
The sound of Clement pianos is harmonic, intense and rich in overtones. The timbre recalls the typical tone of the European pianos: unmistakable and unique.
The soundboard, made with selected
spruce wood, allows for the propagation
of the sound waves at the extraordinary speed of 3.322 m/sec, creating the magic of the Clement Sound in an instant. |
